Perfect binding

Perfect binding is a method of binding thick magazines, books, annual reports and catalogues in which the pages are bound to the cover and held together by a thin strip of adhesive. Paperback or soft cover books are also normally bound using perfect binding. They usually consist of various sections with a cover made from heavier paper, glued together at the spine with a strong flexible glue. From a minimum thickness of approximately 3mm, it works well with a wide range of document thickness and trim sizes.
